Music to My Ears First morning light, First chorus of chirps, First drop of water, First shout of anger, First squeal of laughter, First blare of the trumpet, First ding of the chimes, First beating of the drums, First pluck of the base, First pull of the harp, The song of life, Ongoing. Music to my ears.

Dog Tongue lolling out, Sides heaving. Ebony black fur Glistening in the sun. Bright eyes Lazily peering  Through half-closed eyes Looking at You.

It's Now or Never It's now or never Take it  Or leave it Wait too long And the moment's gone Lost... In the wind

Life Goes On Drops of water Plop, Plop Plopping Down Into rivulets. Flowing Along the curb. Rocks and Sketchers Damming up  The trail. But still, the flow Does not break. And the water flows on Just Like Life.
